There aint no rest for the wicked
Getting my game on

I like to consider myself a gamer. I have played games since I was four. Recently though I haven’t had the time to game, but I’m trying to fix that with your help. This will be a recurring section on my blog where I talk about what I’m playing and what I thought about said game.  So for the inaugrual installment I will tell you about my experience with Infamous 2.

This is interesting since when I do game, I mainly do it on the xbox 360. My ps3 is mainly a glorified blue ray player with gaming options. I will only play games on the ps3 that are exclusive to it. I played the first Infamous and absolutely loved it. I only did the good play through in part one but it was enough for me. The game play and the story were great. The ending caught me off guard, in a good way and its one of the best endings I have seen in a game.

Now on to part 2. A massive improvement gameplay wise and graphically. Story wise it was good but part one set the bar pretty high. This time I did both sides good and bad. The endings were good. Particularly the bad ending. The good one was a little too emo.  Now onto the moral portion of the game. Every time a game offers this option I always play good. I decided to stop that an go evil. I dont understand why I felt guilty doing this. Killing innocent people and not saving those in danger, but its not like they are real people. Its the first time I comitted to it til the end, and I’m happy to say that you get over that guilt once you get in character and start enjoying the destructon and mayhem you are causing.

The voice acting was good. All except for the main character. The voice actor was changed for part 2. The actor in part one was great. The one in part two was just too campy. Every other charecter actually sounded like a person, he just sounded like a parody. I digress, it wasnt enough to stop me from playing and completing the game twice. It is the first game that I got the platinum trophy on the ps3. That means getting all trophies for the game. Trophies are the equivalent of Achievements on the xbox 360. Getting the platinum trophy is like getting all 1000 achievement points on an xbox 360 game.

I definitely recommend playing it if you have played the first one. Good game, good story and a good time all around. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

America’s Birthday

Had a great time celebrating this great nation of ours’ birthday. Hung out in masasachusetts with my girlfriend, her sister, and her sis’s boyfriend. Endulged in something I havent enjoyed in a while and ate like a king. Thank you America for affording me the liberties to live my life like I see fit. God bless you, and God bless America.

My new kicks. No this isn’t that kind a blog where all I talk about is my sneakers. (BTW nothing wrong with those blogs) I’m just a huge comic book fan. Green Lantern is my favorite from DC, and no I’m not a bandwagon fan. Been a fan way before a movie was in production. Not to sound like a hipster lol. I got these today and I love them. So I wanted to share. Hope you like them too.

The comeback

I havent posted in a while. Life has been a rollercoaster, but I’m making it work. I’m going to turn this blog around. Post more often about any and everything. So look forward to it. Pass the word along, try and get me more followers if you can. I will plug all of my followers and get you followers also. Thanks a bunch, and get ready for it.

Loss

A very dear friend has lost his father last night/this morning. I know this is one of the most paiful things to experience in life. The pains lingers for as long as you have love in your heart, which is forever. There are a few things to take solace in, even in times like these. First is that his father is not really lost. He is always in his heart and in those that knew and cared about him and his son. Second is that the pain of loss is a reminder that we are human and still alive, and that now as his role shifts from son to father he gets to put everything he learned growing up from his father to use. The cycle of life is a beautiful thing. We have are ups and our downs, but remember is not what happens to you that defines you its what how you handle lifes swerves that does.

Steve I love you and I know nothing I can say will releive you of any of the pain you are feeling. But you are my brother and nothing will ever change that. God bless you and the family.

I want these!!!!!!!
